
CRC Membership
At the Campus Recreation Center, we provide a wide range of facilities, services, and programs designed to meet the needs of students, faculty, staff, alumni and familes. Whether you’re here to stay active, unwind, or connect, we’ve got something for everyone.
Memberships are easy to purchase, simply stop by the CRC during open hours and pay by cash, check, or credit card.

Available Membership Options
Full-time, resident-credit students receive a Campus Recreation Center (CRC) membership as part of their student activity fees.
To check if you pay student activity fees, log in to your MyÄ¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ account.
Students who do not pay student activity fees, such as distance learners or those enrolled in internships only, can still access the Campus Recreation Center by purchasing a semester membership. To see if you pay student activity fees, just check your MyÄ¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ account.
If you're not taking summer classes but are enrolled for the upcoming fall semester, you can purchase a summer membership. Options are available for the full summer or by individual summer session. Membership eligibility begins the day after the spring semester ends and continues through the day before the fall semester begins.
Please note that membership fees are not prorated, and proof of enrollment may be required.
Price: $70 per semester, or $17.50 per month during Fall and Spring semesters. $20 for May Mini-mester, $25 for Summer Session I, $25 for Summer Session II during the Summer semesters.
Spouses, partners, and dependents of Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ students are eligible to purchase a Campus Recreation Center (CRC) membership at the semester rates listed below. Dependents must be 18–25 years old and live in the same household as the student.
Families may purchase a membership even if the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ student is not currently a CRC member.
To purchase a membership, the student and their spouse, partner, or dependent must be present at the time of purchase. The student must provide a valid Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ student ID, and proof of relationship may be required.
Parking passes are available to CRC members that do not already have a Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ parking pass. Members need to contact the Parking Operations Office at 828-227-7275 to obtain a parking pass.
Price: $100 per semester or $25 per month
All current Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ faculty and staff are encouraged to join the Campus Recreation Center (CRC). To be eligible, individuals must have a valid Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ CatCard and fall into one of the following categories:

Full-time, part-time, or temporary/hourly faculty and staff

Interns or staff who are not Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ students but currently work to support Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ students

Aramark employees working on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµâ€™s campus
-
AmeriCorps VISTA members serving on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµâ€™s campus for the benefit of Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ students
Payroll deduction is available for full-time, benefitted faculty and staff. If employment with the university ends, the CRC membership will end as well.
Price: $80 per semester or $20 per month
All Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ retirees are eligible to join the Campus Recreation Center (CRC). Retirees must have a valid Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ CatCard to register.

Full-time, benefitted Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ faculty and staff may use payroll deduction to pay for memberships for their spouses, partners, and dependents. If the faculty or staff member’s employment ends, the family’s membership will also end.

Alumni must have graduated from Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ to be eligible for membership. Both Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ alumni and their spouses/partners can purchase a Campus Recreation Center (CRC) membership at the semester rates listed below.
To purchase a membership for an alumni spouse or partner, both the alumni and their spouse/partner must be present. Spouses and partners can purchase a membership even if the alumni member is not currently a CRC member.
Parking passes are available to CRC members that do not already have a Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ parking pass. Members need to contact the Parking Operations Office at 828-227-7275 to obtain a parking pass.
Price: $160 per semester or $45 per month
Guest passes are mainly for friends and family of the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ community. They may also be used by official university guests, like visiting faculty or department guests.

Guest passes are sold in visit packages. Each entry to the CRC or Reid Pool counts as one visit.

Visits can be used anytime during CRC or Reid Pool open hours and expire 90 days after purchase.

Guests eligible for CRC membership do not need a sponsor.

All other guests must have a sponsor to buy a pass.

Sponsors must be current Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ students, faculty, staff, or CRC members.

The sponsor must be present at the time of purchase but doesn’t have to stay with the guest.

One sponsor can bring up to 2 guests per day.

Only one visit package can be purchased at a time. Once it’s used up, the sponsor must be present to buy another.
Guest & Sponsor Responsibilities:

Sponsors are responsible for their guest’s actions.

Guests must follow all CRW rules or they may be asked to leave. Sponsors are liable for damages.

Guests must be 18+, sign a waiver, and show a photo ID with proof of age and address.
University Guests:
Departments hosting official university guests should email campusrec@wcu.edu at least 24 business hours before the visit.

All sales are final. No refunds or transfers.
CRW may approve or deny any transaction.

Membership Add On's
Group Exercise
Group Exercise memberships are only available to current CRC members. CRC members must purchase the Group Exercise membership before attending any Group Exercise classes, and bring their CatCard to all classes.Price: $20 per semester
Personal Training
Access to Personal training is available to any CRC member, and can be purchased at the CRC. See Fitness and Wellness page for pricing information.
Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ faculty, staff, retirees, alumni, and students who are eligible for CRC membership can buy a Family Swim Pass.
This allows a spouse/partner and children under 18 to use the pool during open swim hours.
Family swim is only during open swim hours (check Campus Recreation's Hours of Operation page for current times).
All participants must follow pool rules and policies.
