    ĢƵ Health Services achieves 2 accreditation milestones

    March 25

    In December 2025, ĢƵ Health Services earned first-time accreditation from the Association for Ambulatory Health Care, a national accrediting body for outpatient facilities, including university health centers, outpatient surgical centers and medical home facilities. Less than 30% of university health centers nationwide hold AAAHC accreditation.

    A study by a ĢƵ economist indicates that Jackson County saw more than $144 million in total economic impact from the $770,000 that county government invested in the local Department of Social Services to administer Medicaid and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits last year.
