Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Global
BCBS Global (formerly GeoBlue) is an international health support program that helps study abroad students access medical care while they are outside the United States. It connects students with a network of trusted doctors and hospitals around the world, making it easier to find care in an unfamiliar location. The program also assists with coordinating treatment and managing claims, sometimes allowing providers to bill insurance directly. Plans include 24/7 support for medical emergencies, giving students and their families added peace of mind. Overall, BCBS Global helps ensure students can focus on their experience abroad while staying supported and protected if health needs arise.
Students on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Global Sponsored Programs are Automatically Enrolled in BCBS Global Plans as part of their travel experinces. Students are billed between $1.55 - $.175 (depending on the country) per day for the duration of their programs and are charged on their Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ student accounts. Participation in this coverage is mandatory as part of all Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Global sponsored programs, except ISEP Exchange and ISEP Direct programs.
