Biography

Dr. Shafiee earned her PhD from Arizona State University in 2018 and brings roughly eight years of industry experience to her current role at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ. She has held senior design engineering positions at leading technology companies including Broadcom, Amazon's Project Kuiper, and Kyocera. At Broadcom, she worked as an RFIC design engineer developing the RF front end and analog blocks for Bluetooth chips. She went on to serve as Satellite Gateway Receiver Lead Engineer at Amazon Kuiper, and later as Senior IC Designer at Kyocera, where she worked on mmWave receiver amplifiers for 5G systems and led SAR ADC design for housekeeping applications, including development of its calibration state machine. Her background spans RF/mmWave circuits and systems, mixed-signal design, and built-in test and calibration—expertise that directly informs her work on intelligent calibration techniques for high-performance RF systems.
